Scarlett loves to sit up so I went out and bought her the Bumbo seat. She's only had it for one day, but she's really enjoying it. She also had to endure her mommy taking pictures with that funky hat.

Hanging out with Daddy AGAIN

Gerry was watching Scarlett as I was making dinner. I could hear her "talking" but couldn't see her. I asked Gerry where she was and he said "she's sitting right here next to me." It was the funniest sight to see. Notice how I'm the one with the camera as most pictures are usually with Daddy.

We took a trip to Corpus for my sister's baby shower. My older sister had a baby three weeks after Scarlett was born. We drove down together. Needless to say we only made it half way before both babies started to cry. My sister crawled to the back seat to try to calm them down, but after driving 40 more miles we finally had to stop and take them out of their car seats to "stretch" their legs.

Scarlett loves hanging out with Daddy. She doesn't even give him a chance to get out of his work clothes. Here Gerry put her on the pillow and is holding her by one arm. She's supporting herself. Just shows how strong she's getting.

Beauty sleep

The things we have to do to get some beauty sleep.

Scarlett was taking a nap after church. I put her down with her headband and apparently sometime in her sleep she moved her headband and it landed over her eyes. It was so funny to see this when I went in to check on her.
