Sara took a great picture of Scarlett while we were in Hawaii. It's the best picture yet.

My Dallas friend

So much has happened since we came back from Hawaii (thus the delay in updating her blog). AT&T is moving their headquarters to Dallas so we are now moving to Dallas. While on a house hunting trip, we had our friends, Jessica and Robert, watch Scarlett. What made it even more fun is that they have a 2 year old daughter, Alexa. The girls played together and went swimming in Alexa's back yard.

Luau - the dance

Scarlett thoroughly enjoyed the luau. She stood on our chair and danced the whole time and clapped like crazy after each performance. At the beginning of the luau when the first dance was over, Scarlett quivering her bottom lip and then started to cry because it was over, but we assured her that it was going to start back up again.

This video is a very quick 8 seconds before the lights went out, but it gives you a quick glimpse (albeit dark) of her delight during the show.

Luau - Flirting with the waiter

There was one particular waiter that seemed to catch Scarlett's eye and all night she flirted with him. He definitely kept her entertained before the luau started. Watch this video closely and look at her face change when she spots the waiter. In the background you will hear the waiter respond to her screams with a scream back.

Aloha - Video 2

After dinner we took Scarlett to look at the ocean where she happily sat down to play with the rocks in the sand and stop in awe at the sound of the crashing waves over the bigger rocks (thankfully not near her).

Here Scarlett is enjoying your vanilla and chocolate pudding dessert using the cookie provided as a scoop. She was delighted to have it all to herself.
