My highchair

Thanks to Monica, Edie and Jessica, Mommy finally fed me using my own highchair. Now I can sit up like a big girl and eat. Don't know why my tray has to be this big, I'm just a little person.

Yum! Here give me that spoon.

I can feed myself.
What? Do I have something on my face?

I'm all done. I ate the whole bowl.

Oh, I better wipe my hands.

Feeding time

Today was Scarlett's first taste of "real" food - rice cereal. She didn't hesitate one bit to take the rice cereal. She didn't even make a face. As long as she's getting fed that's all she cares about.
Daddy is feeding me my first "real" food - rice cereal. I got to sit in my own little chair

I had to help Daddy position the spoon correctly for me so I won't spill my food.

Yum, yum, yummy!!! Wonder if I can store this in my cheeks.

Playtime with Daddy

Hanging out with my big sisters

So here I am with my biggest sister, Chelsea. I don't see her as often since she's a married woman so I look forward to when we go to Oklahoma so I can see her.

Now Sara, my other big sister, holds me and walks me around Panera to show me the sights or so I thought. I heard Mommy and Daddy talking about keeping me happy by walking around.

I get to show off to Chelsea and Sara how well I can hold my head up.

And here I have proof that Sara is trying to take away my toy. I heard Mommy say this is typical of sisters, but it was my toy. I just don't get it...yet.

Chelsea to the rescue.

Daddy's girls

Gerry with his three daughters in birth order - Chelsea (with red sweater), Sara (khaki jacket), and Scarlett.
And Gerry with all the girls in his life.

Fighting sleep

Scarlett was very tired and ready for a nap. After rocking her for awhile, she fell asleep. When I went to put her in her crib, she woke up and started to what I call "sleepy cry". In an effort to teach her to learn to fall asleep on her own when I put her down when she's sleepy, I gave her a pacifier (which she doesn't take to very well) and a stuff animal. The following pictures show that it took awhile for her to go back to sleep.
The first two photos her eyes are half closed. They eventually come open and then toward the end you'll notice she has one eye closed before she finally falls asleep.

Finally a picture with Mommy

I want to show the world that Mommy really does exist. She's just always behind the camera. She finally got Daddy to take a picture with me.

4 months old

Hard to believe Scarlett is already 4 months old. For her 4 month birthday, we bought her an exersaucer. She is loving it.
