Learning to reach out

Scarlett is learning to reach out and touch things. I caught her grabbing the foot of her panda bear. She loves that panda bear.

A fistful

Scarlett has discovered the joys of sucking on her fist. It seems to have replaced her pacifier (which she rarely uses - thank goodness).
And if she's not sucking on her fist, she's sucking on my hand.

First flight

Scarlett was a great traveler.

Grandma and Grandpa

We took a trip to Oklahoma this past weekend so Scarlett can finally meet her other big sister, Chelsea (see Big Sis) and Grandma and Grandpa (Gerry's parents).

Big Sis

Scarlett finally gets to meet her other big sister, Chelsea, and brother-in-law, Ryan. She enjoyed spending time with Chelsea and Ryan and can't wait to see them in March.

Getting stronger

Scarlett's tummy time is starting to pay off. She is starting to hold her head up on her own. In fact, if she had it her way, she would be off and walking, but we told her to slow down, we don't want her growing up that fast.

Scarlett is showing Daddy that she can sit up holding her head on her own (for a short time, that is).

Daddy is so proud of her. He rewards her with a kiss.

Two months old & worn out

Yesterday (Feb. 1) was Scarlett's two month birthday and she celebrated by going to her two month check-up and getting four shots. She had a morning appointment and the rest of the day she seemed to be so tired as you can see from the pictures, she was having play time with Daddy when she fell asleep, but then she woke up and wasn't a happy camper.
